I think it is very important to advocate for children's rights. Children need commitment from adults. And really, it isn't that hard to go out and smoke a cigarette. I know how important this really is.
My youngest son stayed with a friend of mine for a week, he was exposed to tobacco smoke only for 5 days and ended up developing asthma because he was sensitive (allergic). Of course, we didn't know this. We were all shocked that this could happen so fast. Now every time he gets the flu or a normal cold he needs to be treated for asthma because all this minor maladies trigger the asthma again.
